Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-Language Pathology is a field dedicated to diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work with people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, who experience difficulties with speech, language, voice, or swallowing. They assess individuals’ abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve communication skills, including speech articulation, language comprehension, and social communication. SLPs also provide therapy to help individuals regain or develop the ability to swallow safely and effectively.
